Complete with a tennis court and a spa and wellness centre, this holiday home was a pleasant surprise. One day, after a tiring hike, we decided to take advantage of the indoor pool. As we swam, the soothing water melted away our fatigue, leaving us feeling as refreshed as if we had just won a marathon!
Limited spa access hours.

The accommodation was spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Guests enjoyed alfresco meals on the patio and had access to a shared swimming pool. the house was spotlessly clean and had thoughtful additions like torches and dog bowls. the location was close to the city center, with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Some guests mentioned the luxurious bathrooms and the ability to use the pool and sauna after a day of touring.
The swimming pool was reported to be quite cold.

The room at Woodstore in Wells was just what I needed after a long day of trekking. It had a cozy vibe that made me feel instantly at home. The two bathrooms were a luxurious touch, with a shower to wake me up in the morning and a bath to relax in the evening. It was pure bliss!
Honestly, there wasn't much to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, I guess the only thing I liked less was the size of the room. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure others would still find it perfectly comfortable.

We stayed at Woodstore for a short break before dropping our daughter off to University. An amazing house, spotlessly clean and perfect for a short stay. Very close to pubs and restaurants. The ability to use the pool and sauna was a massive plus after touring. The welcome pack, which included treats for dogs and people was very welcome.

The hotel's decoration was simply stunning, with beautiful furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. The general areas were immaculate and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people to navigate. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist the older guests with a warm smile.
It would have been even better if the children working there had organized more activities specifically tailored for senior guests.

The room at Woodstore was absolutely gorgeous! It had a rustic charm that made me feel like I was staying in a cozy cabin in the woods. The two bathrooms were a bonus, with a shower and a bath, so I could choose my preferred way to relax after a long day of meetings. It was just what I needed as a weary business traveler.
Just a small thing, but the Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty. But hey, maybe I needed a break from constantly being connected anyways!

The decoration of Woodstore was simply lovely, with charming touches that made it feel like a cozy home-away-from-home. The general areas, such as the open-plan living room and beautiful kitchen, were well-maintained and spacious. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with convenient parking and secure gates for added peace of mind. It was a pleasure to move around the property without any difficulty.
I would have loved a better selection of activities specifically tailored for senior guests. Perhaps organizing gentle exercise classes or social events geared towards older individuals would have made the vacation even more enjoyable.
